When experimenting with the material, Laura became fascinated with the moment it transitioned from being a 2D sheet into a 3D object. Focusing on the natural tendency it has to curl when torn.

One edge of these earrings is straight and the other is etched, reminiscent of the torn edge of a piece of paper. As the earrings narrow at the end of the curl, this twists slightly to give the earrings a subtle asymmetric quality when viewed from the front. Each pair of Torn Earrings are are completely handmade, therefore your pair may differ slightly from the images shown.
