TORN RANGE

Inspired by torn paper. 

When experimenting with the paper, I became fascinated with the moment it transitioned from being a 2D sheet into a 3D object.

Focusing on the natural tendency it has to curl when torn, I wanted to translate that moment into sheet sterling silver. Silver shares the same thickness as paper or card, yet has extra strength  - allowing the curve to remain in place.

The torn edge on each piece is hand drawn and etched, contrasting with the straight edge.

These pieces are sculptural yet suitable for everyday wear.
