A delicately etched surface that creates a negative pattern on a brushed sterling silver tube balanced perfectly on a hoop.
On a trip to Carse Bay in Scotland, Laura made drawings from the patterns left in the sand when the tide went out. These patterns focus on negative space and create a subtle textured surface when combined with brushed silver. Intersected with a hoop one third of the way along the tube. These earrings hang straight, yet are free to move with the wearer, similarly to the tide.
Each pattern is drawn onto the tube by hand, and is then etched. Making each piece completely unique.
